Approach about empty house

The last update date:

 In late years empty houses which are not managed by population decline or aging progress increase.
 Due to such an empty house,
  • Disaster prevention side (fear of collapse)
  • Trouble (luxuriant growth of weed) in scenery
  • Sanitary problem (illegal dumping of garbage)
  • Problem (the residence of suspicious individual) in crime prevention
Outbreak is felt uneasy about of this.
 In each municipality of the prefecture, we establish by-law about unoccupied house countermeasures, and dangerous unoccupied house countermeasures is promoted.
 If space home owner cannot identify as Saga either, we wrestle in countermeasures in cooperation with municipalities including instruction, advice for conduct of operation and "promotion business of legal system that there is retirement by judgment of municipalities immediately such as empty house reproduction". 

 

Special measures law about promotion of countermeasures such as empty houses 

 Because empty houses where appropriate management was not carried out had a serious influence on living environment of local resident, we protected life, body of local resident or property and planned maintenance of the living environment, and "special measures law about promotion of countermeasures such as empty houses" for the purpose of utilization promoting empty houses in total was established in November, 2014.

The current situation of empty house in Saga

 Space number of houses in Saga becomes 43,300 houses in Surveys in 2013 and grows approximately 1.2 times from 35,700 houses of Surveys in 2008.

(1) The establishment situation of by-law about appropriate management such as empty houses of each municipality

 Among prefecture 20 municipalities, appropriate management by-law about empty houses is established in 19 municipalities and is working on problem about empty houses now.

 We register article which had proposal from space home owner, and empty house bank system is system giving information of the article in various places of applicant whom we want to borrow from who wants to buy empty house.

 It is worked on empty house bank system now in 15 municipalities of the prefecture.
