Story concerning inheritance
Deva gate is located at the entrance of jinhisanshinshasando, and it is thought that it was originally the main gate of a Buddhist temple of jinhisammamorikokuji which there was on this ground. It is said that Buddhist priest bank group had outset of jinhisammamorikokuji by Imperial prayer of the (729) Emperor Shomu according to temple authenticating certificate in 729, and "only "the House of guardian deity of children" and Deva gate" remain now. jinhisanshinsha is enshrined as God of god of the mountain, agriculture, and big festival "ritual music and dancing performed in Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples" is dedicated in Year of the Monkey once in 12 years.
Characteristic of building
Current Deva gate is built in the Edo era and has characteristic of eight gates of three ken of one. Nio Guardians of *kei is enshrined to Agata, the left to the right towards the gate, and this Deva gate is Nio Guardians of itokokyu in Kyushu.
Approach of preservation and utilization
We manage in jinhisanshinsha. A lot of historical heritages such as Kunen-an, Gen Ito Park former houses are left, and many visitors visit the outskirts through the year.
