Memory exhibition "- with flower story - a large number of flowers Hisashi Tsuji describing of Saburosuke Okada" of the first anniversary of atelier transference
2 exhibition purposes
Okada and thing, that which the crossroads loved together were "flowers". Saburosuke Okada received discipline of Raphael cholane in France and came to draw flower (plant) in work. While they were designs of a part of the background or kimono, we carried role to suggest property and story of woman who was the subject. In addition, still-life picture which we drew roses occupies important position in the painting of Okada.
Hisashi Tsuji was painter that flower and connection were deep, too. He who liked plant as we became painter or became botanist or were troubled described plant image more than 20,000 points through life, and, in the days of boy, they bore fruit as thick book "a large number of flowers illustrated book" "a large number of flowers music".
The crossroads share interest in flower, plant with Okada who often went for sketch trip together, and it is thought that we let each work reflect.
Story around "flower" which emerged in work of Okada and the crossroads will be to clarify role that flower carried out in the history of modern foreign film.
