We made child care and, as part of grand province "saga" project, carried out "school reading challenge exercise" for the purpose of planning more promotion of book-reading activities of children in school in 2018.
Purpose of "school reading challenge campaign"
Know pleasure of reading by school in Saga "declaring" practice of own book-reading activities, and doing, and performing "evaluation", and announcing contents and method, of every school and class is voluntary, and plan promotion of book-reading activities filled with originality.

※We make entry vote, and approach school is submitted to Saga Department of Citizens and Environmental Affairs Lifelong Learning Division by August 31, 2018 (Heisei 30). We gather approach result during period in practice report and submit to Saga Department of Citizens and Environmental Affairs Lifelong Learning Division by December 7, 2018 (Heisei 30).
The first selection: Selection examination by the Lifelong Learning Division staff
The second selection: Selection examination by the following judges
(Saga Department of Citizens and Environmental Affairs Lifelong Learning Division head, Saga reading campaign meeting and Saga community library discussion chairperson, Saga Board of Education Schooｌ education section manager, General Manager Saga Department of General Affairs Legal Affairs and Private Schools Division private institution medium- and high-levels, special vocational school support, five people of Saga school library education workshop representative in total)
We select based on five points of view listed below.
(1) Does it become approach full of ideas?
(2) Does pleasure of reading become approach to be handed down?
(3) Do you have continuous approach and concrete approach plan to the future?
(4) Are more books utilized?
(5) Does it become approach in connection with many groups?
Each prize highest award: One certificate of merit, supplementary prize (receiving a prize school from list of The Prefectural Library librarian recommended books with 100 books selected books)
Award for excellence: Two certificates of merit, supplementary prize (receiving a prize school from list of The Prefectural Library librarian recommended books with 50 books selected books)
Fighting spirit prize: Ten certificates of merit, supplementary prize (receiving a prize school from list of The Prefectural Library librarian recommended books with ten books selected books)
