We hold raccoon damage control workshop

We hold workshop to learn knowledge, technique about damage prevention countermeasures of raccoon targeting at the people concerned of related organizations, group and other birds and beasts countermeasures in the prefecture to plan improvement of damage control due to raccoon in the area in Saga, and to aim at decrease in agriculture damage.               

 

1 date and time     Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00

2 places     duingu crescent moon (Mikatsukichochokanda, Ogi-shi)

The staff such as 3 eligible people municipalities, agricultural cooperative, agricultural mutual benefit association and prefectural related organizations, the person concerned of the birds and beasts countermeasures in the other prefectures

Reference  Farm products damage due to raccoon of Saga of 2018

  Farm products damage amount of money due to raccoon of 2018 is about 2,526 1,000 yen, and, of these, damage amount of money of fruit tree accounts for 70% of the whole for about 1,778 1,000 yen.

  In addition, The harmful birds and beasts capture in the prefecture of 2018 and raccoon capture head count by hunting were 1,594.
