We carry out "school reading challenge exercise" in 2020 to make child care, and to plan more promotion of book-reading activities of children in school as part of grand province "Saga" project.
By raising book-reading activities working on originally widely, and honor excellent activity and school in the prefecture announcing, in each school is voluntary, and plan promotion of book-reading activities filled with originality.
We raise approaches of event and plan full of ideas of each school pertaining to reading promotion widely and commend school which performed excellent approach and announce on homepage of the prefecture.
After April 1, 2020, we do with approaches from day when each school began approach to November 30, 2020.
We assume school in the prefecture (elementary school, junior high school, compulsory education school, high school, special support school and special vocational school (higher course)).

You make entry vote, and please transmit approach school to Saga Department of Citizens and Environmental Affairs Lifelong Learning Division by E-mail by data (PDF version) by Monday, August 31, 2020.
(2) Submission of practice report
You gather approach result during period in practice report, and please send to Saga Department of Citizens and Environmental Affairs Lifelong Learning Division by E-mail by data (PDF version) by Monday, December 14, 2020.

The first examination: Examination by the Lifelong Learning Division staff
The second examination: Examination by the following judges
(Saga reading campaign meeting and Saga community library discussion chairperson, Saga Board of Education Schooｌ education section manager, General Manager Saga Department of General Affairs Legal Affairs and Private Schools Division private institution medium- and high-levels, special vocational school support, Saga school library education workshop representative, five people of Saga Department of Citizens and Environmental Affairs Lifelong Learning Division length in total)
We examine based on five points of view listed below.
(1) Does it become approach full of ideas?
(2) Does pleasure of reading become approach to be handed down?
(3) Do you have continuous approach and concrete approach plan to the future?
(4) Are more books utilized?
(5) It becomes approach in connection with many groups (we, e.g., performed library festival with PTA and local library, story-telling group.) or
・One highest award: Certificate of merit, supplementary prize (book card 30,000 yen)
・Two awards for excellence: Certificate of merit, supplementary prize (book card 10,000 yen)
・Ten fighting spirit prizes: Only as for the certificate of merit
Public announcement of winning a prize school and practice casebook
・We announce winning a prize school on prefectural homepage.
・We make "school reading challenge campaign practice casebook" about all entries and publish in prefectural homepage.
